• March is National Nutrition Month®. This year’s theme
is “Put Your Best Fork Forward. Enjoy incredibly edible
plant parts.” It encourages the discovery of eating all
edible and healthy parts of a plant.
• Each part of the plant offers a variety of different
nutrients — from the roots all the way to the leaves.
• Eating more parts of plants also reduces food waste.
